Description
The work provided for this project will include all materials, equipment, labor and related items necessary to widen both shoulders on March Point Road from the Tommy Thompson trestle south approximately 1,250 feet and install a rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) assembly. The work will include, clearing and grubbing, saw-cutting and planing bituminous pavement, roadway excavation, placing crushed surfacing top course, HMA paving, installing rock wall, installing RRFP assembly, permanent signing, pavement striping and markings, landscaping, erosion control and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Special Provisions, the Standard Specifications, and Standard Plans. Bid specifications are available free of charge at http://www.bxwa.com The Engineering Estimate for this project is within the range of $180,000 to $200,000.

Bonding
The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bonds for the faithful performance of the work, as prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
Licensing
In order to perform public work, the successful contractor and subcontractors, prior to receiving contract award, shall have a City of Anacortes Business License.
