In accordance with competitive bid requirements set forth under RCW 39.04.155, Small Works Roster Contract Procedures, the City of Anacortes is pleased to invite you to submit a bid under the subject solicitation. Contractors who bid on this project must be registered on the Small Works Roster by the time that bids are due. Contractor shall commence work immediately after award of contract and the Notice to Proceed is issued. The City needs the Bidder to expedite the work as schedule will allow with all work completed by December 14, 2018. SCOPE OF WORK All work to be performed between the hours of 7:00am and 4:30pm Monday-Friday excluding and City observed holidays. All work must conform to building and electrical codes and bidder is responsible for any and all permits that may be required. Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment and labor to install all necessary electrical for the Cummins commercial generator located at the Anacortes Public Library, 1220 10th St, Anacortes, WA 98221, all in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications, and the Contract Provisions. The scope of work includes the following: 1. All electrical required for the operation of the Cummins commercial generator as detailed in Exhibit C. 2. Installation of a transfer switch. 3. Estimated quantity of 960’ of electrical for the 2-1/2” conduit. 4. Estimated quantity of 160’ of electrical for 1 of the 1” conduits. 5. Estimated quantity of 400’ data cable for 2 of the 1” conduits. 6. All conduit extended into the building, which will require core drilling.
