In accordance with competitive bid requirements set forth under RCW 39.04.155, Small Works Roster Contract Procedures, the City of Anacortes is pleased to invite you to submit a bid under the subject solicitation. Contractors who bid on this project must be registered on the Small Works Roster by the time that bids are due. The City needs the Bidder to expedite the work as schedule will allow with all work to begin on May 6, 2019 and completed no later than May 14, 2019. Project Title: Library Main Floor Carpet Design & Installation 19-073-FAC-001. Bid Due Date: Tuesday April 9, 2019 at 2:00pm PST. Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment and labor to remove the existing carpet, prep, and design and install 988 square yards of new carpet, and 600 linear feet of rubber wall base at the Anacortes Public Library, 1220 10th St, Anacortes, WA 98221, all in accordance with the specifications and Contract Provisions. The scope of work includes the following: 1. Coordinate with the Project Manager and Library Director in the design of the carpet pattern. 2. Remove, haul, and dispose of old carpet. 3. Perform minimum preparation where needed. 4. Install 988 square yards of new Miliken Color Fields (multi) carpet in color pattern according to the approved design. 5. Install 600 linear feet of Johnsonite 4" Cove Base 72 Harbour. 6. Clean up all waste and debris at jobsite each day.
