The project provides for the reconstruction of a portion of the downtown sidewalks that will upgrade ADA ramps and eliminate sidewalk trip hazards, with an emphasis on those caused by street tree roots. The work includes, but not limited to, saw-cutting asphalt and concrete, roadway excavation and hauling, clearing and grubbing, the construction of: sidewalks, ADA ramps, traffic curbs and gutters, pedestrian curbs, detectable warning surfaces, and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
