In accordance with competitive bid requirements set forth under RCW 39.04.155, Small Works Roster Contract Procedures, the City of Anacortes (“City”) is pleased to invite you to submit a bid under the subject solicitation. Contractors who bid on this project must be registered on the City’s Small Works Roster at https://mrscrosters.org/ by the time that bids are due.The City of Anacortes is soliciting bids under the City’s Small Works Roster utilizing MRSC Rosters for a 3 year as-needed electrical services agreement beginning on January 1, 2023.Contractor shall provide electrical services to various City of Anacortes job sites including, but not limited to, the Wastewater Treatment Plant and related buildings, Water Treatment Plant located in Mount Vernon, WA and related buildings, City Hall, three Fire Stations, Public Safety Building, Public Works Operations Facility, Public Library, Senior Activity Center, Museum, Depot Arts Center, and the WT Preston. It is anticipated that the annual dollar volume for this work will be approximately $­­­­­­­­­­­­100,000 annually, but may fluctuate depending on budget, projects scheduled and need. The period of this contract shall be for a period of three (3) years from January 1, 2023-December 31, 2025. Contract may be extended on the anniversary date for one (1) additional one (1) year period. Contract is not to exceed a total of four (4) years or $350,000, whichever comes first.The City of Anacortes, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.See "Related Documents" at the bottom of this page for the full specifications and submittal information.
