REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ): Consultant Construction Administration and Construction Management for the R Avenue Long-Term Improvement Project (PW#20-127-TRN\Fed Aid: HIPUS-STPUS-6239(002)The City of Anacortes is accepting submittals of qualifications from consulting firms with expertise in Construction Administration and Construction Management to provide services related to the following project: R Avenue Long-Term Improvement Project #20-127-TRN. This agreement will be for approximately 6-month in duration with the option for the City of Anacortes to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. The City reserves the right to amend terms of this RFQ to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.Project. The work to be performed by the Consultant consists of construction administration and construction management for improvements to R Ave, which consists of the construction of a roundabout at 30th St and R Ave, improving Q Ave between 30th St and 32nd St, closing gaps in the existing boulevard median along R Ave, except for 30th St and 32nd St right-in/right-out intersections, and installing street lighting. Underlying goals of the Project is enhancing safety and improving multi-modal access within the City.This project is funded by a federal HIPUS-STPUS-6239(002) grant.
