Description
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City of Arlington Public Works Department, 154 W. Cox, Arlington, Washington 98223, until 2:00 PM, local time on November 5, 2024, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to perform the project. Work shall include a new 12-foot-wide asphalt trail along the west side of 74th Avenue NE, from the existing trail terminus at 197th St NE to just south of 204th Street NE intersection in the City of Arlington. The work to be performed includes but is not limited to: asphalt trail, illumination, roadway excavation, clearing and grubbing, tree removal, fence, signing, traffic control, landscaping and other work. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Documents for this project and any Addenda issued thereto, which are on file with the City of Arlington Public Works Department. Proposals received after the date and time stated above will not be considered. Immediately following the deadline for submission, the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Stillaguamish Conference Room at the Public Works Administration Building located at 154 W. Cox Ave, Arlington, WA 98223. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided with the contract documents. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified or cashier’s check, or bid bond, for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, including additives and alternates, if any. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the specifications, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Arlington.
