Description

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City of Arlington Public Works Department, 154 W. Cox, Arlington, Washington 98223, until 2:00 PM local time on December 3, 2024, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to perform the Division Broadway Restoration Project. The work shall include furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to install erosion and water pollution control; removal of existing sidewalk, pavement, and subgrade; clear and grub existing landscaping; base course placement and grading; asphalt paving; construction of storm water conveyance, water main and drainage structures; constructing curb and gutter, sidewalk, ADA curb ramps; installing illumination; installing traffic signals; installing bus shelter pads; installing pavement markings and signing; performing traffic control; and miscellaneous items necessary to complete the project. The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is 1,400,000.00. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Documents for this project and any Addenda issued thereto, which are on file with the City of Arlington Public Works Department. Proposals received after the date and time stated above will not be considered. Immediately following the deadline for submission, the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Stillaguamish Conference Room at the Public Works Administration Building located at 154 W. Cox Ave, Arlington, WA 98223. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided with the contract documents. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified or cashier’s check, or bid bond, for not less than five percent of the total amount bid, including additives and alternates, if any. Refer to Instructions to Bidders for more information. The bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Arlington if the successful bidder fails to timely enter into the contract and furnish satisfactory bonds. Plans and specifications are available for viewing at the City Public Works Department, 154 W. Cox Ave, Arlington, WA 98223. Free access to project bid documents is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors via the BXWA online plan room. It is recommended that bidders register to receive automatic email notification of addenda and to be placed on the self registered bidders list. The content through BXWA is protected by copyright. Access to project documents is intended for bidders, agency personnel, and consultants, as well as for personal, noncommercial use by the public. You may display or print the content for these uses only. The City of Arlington will comply with nondiscrimination requirements and equal opportunity for disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26.
