Description
The City of Arlington has recently had the 2nd Floor glass/glazing replaced and will need the finish carpentry done on the frames for both the interior & exterior. This would include all aspects of the finish work, including painting. Contractor will be responsible for providing any equipment needed to access exterior 2nd floor windows. The goal is to keep consistent with the historical aesthetic of the building, using equivalent material as 1st Floor finish trim. Ideally, selected contractor would have the job completed by June 30, prior to 4th of July events when the City is quite busy. If this is not a realistic timeline, the City is willing to negotiate a time after mid-July to start and complete the project.This is a prevailing wage job. Contractor must possess a City of Arlington business license. City Hall 2nd floor windows marked on attached drawing - Contractor responsible for taking appropriate measurements to provide proper bid. Selected Contractor will be required to enter into a Small Public Works Agreement with the City (sample attached).
