Wet Well Lid Improvement – A new concrete wet well lid will be constructed on top of the LS-06 existing concrete lid, the new lid will include a City provided stainless steel access hatch to be integrally cast in with the new lid by the contractor. A summary of work includes, but is not limited to: - Installation, maintenance or erosion control silt fence and soil stabilization products (polyethylene sheeting, erosion control blankets, jute matt, etc.).- Excavation to expose existing wet well concrete lid, clean and prep of existing lid for new lid construction.- Cutting of new access hatch penetration into the existing wet well concrete lid to match penetration to be formed in new concrete lid.- Construct formwork and structural steel placement for new lid- Pour, place and treat concrete for new wet well lid- Installation of City provided access hatch per manufacturer’s directions, hatch framework to be cast integral with concrete lid.- All work to be completed per plans and specifications included with this bid package and other referenced specifications.Area Clean-up & Restoration – After the proposed work is complete and accepted by the City, CONTRACTOR shall remove all construction erosion measures and ground shall be restored and stabilized to the original condition; disturbed ground shall be reseeded. CONTRACTOR will perform a final site walk through with City Project Manager ensuring that all debris has been removed, that all work items have been completed, and that the site has been returned to normal function and operation.
