Description
The City of Bainbridge Island is seeking qualified professionals to submit technical and commercial bids for affordable housing City & Developer partnership and financing assistance services. The City encourages responses from individuals and firms led by those who identify as women or members of traditionally marginalized communities, or who are or could be certified as Minority Business Enterprise/Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), or equivalent. Background: The City is located in Washington on ancestral Suquamish Territory. Anticipated Scope of Work includes guidance on selecting a Developer & Operator for an affordable housing development at 625 Winslow Way E, assisting with Development Agreement, applying for 4% LIHTC, leveraging gap funding, securing project funding, and documenting regulations and programs. Deliverables include identifying gap funding options, working with WS HFC, 4% LIHTC/bond cycles, WA Dept of Commerce Housing Trust Fund, DOC Housing, Kitsap County, Housing Authority, and others; documenting findings; and supporting all aspects of the project through securement of funding.
