Submission Requirements

Sealed bids must be on the form provided and accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cashier’s check, postal money order, or surety bond, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid proposal. The amount of the surety bond may be stated either as a dollar amount or as a percentage of the bid proposal. Faxed or electronic bids will not be accepted. Plans and specifications available through QuestCDN; a hard copy set available to view at City Hall Engineering front counter.

Advertisement and bidding rights

The City of Bainbridge Island reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding process.

Award and responsibility

Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Bidders must meet the mandatory responsibility criteria required by RCW 39.04.350 and any supplemental criteria described in the Contract Documents.
