The 228th Street SW/SE Pavement Preservation proposes to resurface 228th Street SW from the western city limits to west of 4th Avenue W, 228th Street SE from east of SR 522 to 19th Avenue SE and 19th Avenue W from 228th Street SE to north of 232nd Street SE. The project will include establishing state right-of-way (ROW) limits, repair of localized areas of pavement failure, grinding and then overlay with new HMA, adjustment of monuments and utilities, and replacement of pavement markings. No side streets, driveways or pedestrian facilities will be included in the design. The total estimated cost for this project is in the range of $1,100,000 to $1,300,000.
