In general, the work under the PW Shop 1 Demolition project proposes the demolition of an existing building, verification, removal and disposal of hazardous materials found within the existing building including the slab and foundation, utility capping, earthwork, and constructing a new water line. The total estimated cost for this project is in the range of $500,000 to $550,000. The number of working days for Physical Completion of this project is 50. A pre-bid walk through and access to the building will be held at the site on Thursday January 20, 2022 between 10:00am – 12:00noon after which, bidders will be asked to vacate the building. Record of bidder attendance to the pre-bid meeting is mandatory and required for acceptance of the bid proposal. It is recommended that prospective bidders check the Bidders website for schedule revisions or call Public Works at 425-806-6800 one day in advance to confirm the meeting day/venue/time is still as scheduled. The pre-bid meeting will consist of recording Bidder attendance and project introduction at the aforementioned location followed by a site visit to review the building and structures to be demolished.
