Description

The City of Bothell Public Works Department is requesting Statements of Qualifications from consulting firms qualified and interested in providing engineering services for Multimodal (car, bus, bike, and pedestrian) Improvements at the 240 St SE and 35th Ave SE Intersection. Summary of Work: Provide planning, design engineering, environmental, public involvement, right-of-way acquisition, and construction engineering services in support of completing this project. It is anticipated that the consultant work for this project will be authorized in phases. The selected consultant must have the capability to complete the entire design, right of way acquisition and permitting process, and provide construction engineering support services. It is anticipated that the selected consultant will begin work immediately following award of the contract. The initial phase of this project will be an alternatives analysis to determine the best option between a conventional traffic signal and a roundabout for the intersection. The Consultant, at the option of the City, may also be contracted to complete later phases, such as final design, right of way acquisition support, and construction engineering services. This project is subject to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) goals. Goals will be determined at a later time.
