The Ultra Custom Care Cleaners Site Soil Remediation proposes to remove and dispose offsite of chlorinated volatile organic compound contaminated soil from the former dry cleaner source property to achieve compliance with the cleanup standards outlined in the Model Toxics Control Act. The general aspects of this work will involve removal of existing pavement and foundations; well decommissioning, excavation, hauling and landfill disposal of contaminated soil; soil mixing with zero-valent iron; backfill placement and compaction; and asphalt paving. The total estimated cost for this project is in the range of $250,000 to $325,000. The number of working days for Physical Completion of this project is 20.
