Description

The scope of work for this project constitutes a public work under Washington state law. Bidders are cautioned to take into consideration statutory legal requirements, including those related to the payment of prevailing wages, submission of Payment and Performance Bonds (if required), reporting requirements for the use of Subcontractors, and sales tax implications in making a bid. The State of Washington prevailing wage rates applicable for this public works project, which is located in Snohomish County, may be found at the following website address of the Department of Labor and Industries: https://lni.wa.gov/licensing-permits/public-works-projects/prevailing-wage-rates/. Based on the bid submittal deadline for this project, the applicable effective date for prevailing wages for this project is the date of the contract execution. A copy of the applicable prevailing wage rates is also available for viewing at City Hall. Upon request, the City will email or mail a hard copy of the applicable prevailing wages for this project.The City, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to waive minor bid errors, informalities, and immaterial irregularities when it is in the City’s best interestto do so.
