Description
Bothell Historical Museum (Hannan House and Beckstrom Cabin) Roof Replacement Project Quotes will be accepted in writing at City Hall, 18415 101st Avenue NE, Bothell, WA 98011 on or before 2:00 p.m. (PST), June 8, 2017. A quote shall consist of a fully completed and executed Proposal. The project consists of replacing the full roofing system and gutters of the Hannan House and the Beckstrom Cabin. Both buildings are part of the Bothell Historical Museum located at the Park at Bothell Landing. The current roof of the Hannan House consists of cedar shingles with bird deterrent spikes at the ridges and painted wood gutters. The Beckstrom Cabin is a small detached building and the roof is also cedar shingles and wood gutters. The City is requesting the contractor provide three alternative roofing material options for comparison as outlined in the scope of work and replace the gutters with painted aluminum gutters. These are historical buildings and all construction must retain the remaining historic materials unless otherwise specified by the City and minimize the impact on the historic integrity of the building. The project requires approval from the Landmark Preservation Board before the City can issue the Notice to Proceed.

A mandatory on-site walk through is scheduled at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the City of Bothell Historical Museum (Hannan House), located within the Park at Bothell Landing at 9919 NE 180th St, Bothell, WA 98011. Contractors planning on attending this walk through must notify Jaclynn Brandenburg by 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, at jaclynn.brandenburg@bothellwa.gov.
