Notice is hereby given that the City of Bothell will receive sealed bids for the following construction project. Bids will be received by the receptionist inside City Hall Office Building, located at 18415 101st Ave. NE, (425) 806-6100, in the City of Bothell, Washington up to the hour of 2:00 pm, as determined by the designated bid clock at said location, on Friday, November 17, 2017, after all bids will be publicly opened and read to determine the apparent lowest bidder. The NE 184th Place & Cambria Hills Water Main Replacement Project proposes to replace existing AC water main between NE 184th Place and 92nd Ave NE and to connect existing water mains on NE 204th Place within the Cambria Hills Development. The general aspects of the work on NE 184th Place will involve replacement of approximately 290 linear feet of 8-inch AC water main with 10-inch HDPE water main using the Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) construction method including installation of water appurtenances, water connections, traffic control, construction surveying, and project restoration. The general aspects of the work within the Cambria Hills Development will involve installation of approximately 160 linear feet of 8-inch DI water main including installation of water appurtenances, water connections, traffic control, construction surveying, and project restoration. The total estimated cost for NE 184th Place is in the range of $125,000 to $145,000 and the total estimated cost for Cambria Hills is in the range of $55,000 to $75,000. Physical completion of NE 184th Place shall be achieved in 20 working days. Physical completion of Cambria Hills shall be achieved in 20 working days. The NE 185th Street Sewer Repair Project proposes to replace two sections of existing sanitary sewer pipe between Beardslee Boulevard and NE 185th Street, near the US Post Office building in Bothell, WA. The first section includes replacement of approximately 13 feet of 8-inch sewer pipe in NE 185th Street in order to repair offset pipe segments. The second section includes abandonment and relocation of approximately 100 feet of 8-inch sewer pipe behind and adjacent to the post office in order to correct adverse slopes. The total estimated cost for this project is in the range of $90,000 to $100,000. Physical completion of NE 185th Street shall be achieved in 20 working days.
