The City of Bothell solicits interest from qualified consulting firms that are interested in providing construction support services for the SR 522 Stage 3 Improvements Project. Interested consulting firms are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) demonstrating ability to provide expertise in construction administration and/or construction field inspection and/or material testing services. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The SR 522 Stage 3 project is located between west of SR 522/83rd place NE intersection and west of 96th Ave NE on SR 522. The project will provide road and safety improvements, access management, and business access and transit (BAT) lanes along an approximately 4,000 feet segment of SR 522. The key elements of the SR 522 Stage 3 project include: Widening the general travel lanes; Adding BAT lanes in each direction; Interconnecting signals; Constructing sidewalks on the north side of the roadway; Installing retaining walls to support roadway widening; Installing other roadway improvements such as curb and gutters, center medians, street lights, stormwater facility improvements, and landscaping; and Undergrounding utilities. The estimated number of working months for this project is 18; total estimated construction cost is in the range of $20M to $23M.
