REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS The City of Bothell solicits interest from consulting firms (Consultant) to provide teams with expertise in the design engineering of pavement rehabilitation projects for an on-call contract. Scope of Work The selection of the Consultant will be such that the Consultant has the capability to complete the entire design, obtain required environmental and permitting approvals, and provide construction engineering support services for various pavement rehabilitation projects on an as-needed basis. Services will be assigned and negotiated on a task-by-task basis. The Consultant will be able to provide all services required to complete design of various types of pavement rehabilitation projects as well as provide construction engineering support. This work includes but is not limited to: Development of an overall project process plan that includes timelines and potential staging. Conducting Site Evaluations to identify specific construction items to be included in the project improvements. Document existing and proposed pedestrian ADA ramp upgrades using WSDOT’s Maximum Extent Feasible (MEF) documentation template spreadsheet. Provide a cost estimate with anticipated escalation. Complete project surveying. Design plan and profile. Develop Plan, Specification, and Estimate package for project advertisement by the City. Assist with public outreach. Provide construction engineering support. The Consultant shall provide appropriate interdisciplinary resources to complete the work.
