King County Library System Parking Expansion & Drainage Improvements Project proposes to construct 40 LF of storm sewer & 3 catch basins, 40 SY of 7" thick non-reinforced cement concrete driveway, 3-day, 75 SY of 4" thick cement concrete sidewalk, 215 LF of various cement concrete curb, 250 CY of site earthwork, 175 tons of crushed surfacing, 60 CY of imported bank run gravel for trench backfill, 80 tons of HMA Class 1/2 PG 64-22, irrigation, landscaping, plant selection including plan establishment, installation of 1 LED luminaire and approximately 150 LF of 4" wide thermo-plastic striping including other necessary miscellaneous work associated with these improvements. The general aspect of this work will involve with establishing a stabilized construction entrance, followed with clearing and grubbing the site as the first order of business, grading the site to the elevations shown on the plans as the second order of business, installing underground onsite storm sewer, preparing the final subgrade prior to the placement of hot-mixed asphalt and 4000 PSI concrete mix.
