Description
The City of Bothell (City) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purpose of identifying a qualified consulting team(s) for the preparation of a feasibility study for a destination amenity with a public-use component. For this very important work, the City is seeking a well-qualified consultant(s) that has specific experience in the preparation and implementation of feasibility studies. It is expected that the selected consultant will evaluate the market demand and fiscal sustainability for a destination amenity with a public-use component. The study will substantiate the market analysis with sound data analysis and provide a recommendation regarding the feasibility of developing a destination amenity with a public-use component in the City of Bothell.

An electronic proposal in PDF, not to exceed 20 megabytes (no compressed files), must be emailed to jeanie.ashe@bothellwa.gov by the deadline. Additionally, six hard copies of the proposal must be submitted. One copy of the fees must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope labeled “Fees”. Proposals can be dropped off at the Customer Service Desk in City Hall or shipped to: City of Bothell – City Manager’s Office Attn: Jeanie Ashe, Economic Development Manager 18415 101st Ave NE Bothell, WA 98012 If shipped, please retain proof of delivery by deadline.

Answers to questions received by April 29, 2019:Q: Does being awarded the feasibility study contract preclude a consultant from eligibility for subsequent roles in the design, construction, or management of any destination amenity in the park?A: No.Q: What is the property address?A: 16721 96th Ave. NE, Bothell, WA 98011Q: Can alcohol, including wine, be served on the property or is that a prohibited use?A: Once the City of Bothell determines the use of the property, we will rezone it to fit the use. Historically alcohol has been served on the property at the old Wayne Golf Course Clubhouse.
