Description
The City of Bothell is accepting Request for Qualifications for progressive design-build for new replacement Fire Stations 42 and 45: Scope: Replace Fire Stations No. 42 and 45 on the existing sites. Fire services operations will need to be continuously maintained during project duration; temporary facilities and/or phase construction will be an integral part of this project. The project is pursuing LEED Silver certification and will include 1% for the Arts. The City has established a SWMBE goal of 10%. Pre-Proposal: Meeting 11 am, July 9 at Bothell City Hall, 18415 101st Ave, Bothell WA 98011 Notes: Obtain the Request for Qualifications through the owner's website. Tentative timeline: RFQ published (pending PRC approval) - June 28; pre-proposal meeting/last day for questions - July 9; RFQs due - July 19; RFP released to shortlisted proposers - July 29; shortlisted team meetings - Aug. 19-20; proposals due – Aug. 30; final scoring/fee opening – Sept. 5; contract negotiations/approval - Nov. 5. Proposers may not disrupt operations at Stations 42 and 45 and will not visit the sites.
