Description

Notice is hereby given that the City of Bothell will receive sealed bids for the following construction project. Bids will be received by the receptionist inside Bothell City Hall, located at 18415 101st Ave NE, (425) 806-6100, in the City of Bothell, Washington before 2:00 PM, as determined by the designated bid clock at said location, on August 7, 2019, after all bids will be publicly opened and read to determine the apparent lowest bidder. The Lot P-South Soil Remediation Project proposes to perform a remedial action to address subsurface contamination underlying the project site. The general aspects of this work will involve the excavation and disposal of contaminated soils, excavation dewatering, water treatment prior to discharge, followed by backfill and restoration. The total estimated cost for this project is in the range of $1.5M to $1.9M. The number of working days for Physical Completion of this project is 40. Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the online plan room for addenda issued on this project. The City of Bothell in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. Financing of the project has been provided by City of Bothell. The City of Bothell reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to further make award of the project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the City.
