Description
The City of Bothell is soliciting a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for developing architectural plans for the Bothell City Hall Fourth Floor Tenant Improvement Project. Currently, the fourth floor has an open cubicle layout. The remodel will consist of creating an enclosed suite of about 1,500 square feet including four cubicle spaces and an enclosed office. PROJECT DESCRIPTION 1. Design an office suite of about 1,500 square feet including exterior walls and interior walls for one office. 2. Cubicle layout design. 3. HVAC reconfiguration design. 4. Data and power reconfiguration design. 5. Security and access design and planning. 6. Lighting design and controls. The work to be performed by the Architectural Firm consists of planning, architectural design, and cost estimating. This project is on an accelerated schedule and the firm must be available for immediate turnaround. It is anticipated that the consultant will begin work immediately on the initial design. Special attention should be given to the fact that this building is still under two-year warranty of its construction and most of its systems.

Submission Requirements
Submittals should include the following information: Firm name, phone and fax numbers; Name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager; Name of Sub-Consultants and employees in each firm proposed for the project. Please electronically submit the SOQ in pdf format to Jaclynn Brandenburg at the City of Bothell Public Works Department, jaclynn.brandenburg@bothellwa.gov, no later than 4:00 pm (PST) on October 17, 2016. Firms will be sent an email verification that the SOQ has been received. The SOQ shall be no more than five (5) pdf pages, excluding the title pages. Firms will be initially evaluated based on their written SOQ. Finalist candidates will be interviewed in person on October 24, 2016.
