CITY OF BOTHELL REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS 228th Street SE from 35th Ave SE to 39th Ave SE Widening The City of Bothell Public Works Department is requesting Statements of Qualifications from firms qualified and interested in providing professional services for the 228th Street SE from 35th Ave SE to 39th Ave SE Widening project. Summary of Work: Provide planning, engineering, environmental, public involvement, and construction engineering services in support of completing the project. It is anticipated that the consultant work for this project will be authorized in phases. The selected consultant must have the capability to complete the entire design and permitting process and provide construction engineering support services. It is anticipated that the consultant will begin work immediately on preliminary design. The Consultant, at the option of the City, may also be contracted to complete additional phases, such as final design and construction engineering services. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) goal for this professional services contract is five percent. The key elements of work are as follows: Civil Engineering Electrical (incl. signals, ITS and street lighting) Environmental Cost Estimating Landscaping/Streetscape Public Involvement Private and Public Utility Coordination Construction Engineering Support The City of Bothell is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned consultant firms to respond.
