The East 9th Street Stormwater Improvements project will address stormwater capacity issues in the existing stormwater network in the lower Manette neighborhood in Bremerton. Stormwater will be diverted from an undersized (12 inch) stormwater outfall located at the west end of E 11th Street to the existing 6 inch outfall at East 9th Street. The 6 inch outfall will be upsized and replaced to accommodate the additional flow. The project will also assess the downstream capacity of the existing conveyance system receiving stormwater from Perry Avenue south of 10th Street. If needed, excess flows will be rerouted to the new East 9th Street outfall.
