The City of Gig Harbor Department of Community Development is soliciting interest from consultants to update the City’s Design Manual. The City’s intent is to improve consistency with the City’s development code and minimize ambiguity in the Design Manual. The agreement will be for a one-year duration. Consultants will be considered for the following scope of services.The selected Consultant(s), upon request of the City, will review the Design Manual and development code and provide redline amendments. Furthermore, this scope of work will likely include:1. Interview stakeholders to understand pain points and current issues.2. Review the City’s design regulations.3. Review the Design Manual against the City’s development code for consistency.4. Provide redline amendments to the Design Manual.5. Draft project summaries for public meetings.6. Conduct review meetings with stakeholders.7. Attend project meetings, public hearings, and public meetings as requested by City staff.8. Other review and analysis as requested by City staff.
