Description
The City of Gig Harbor requests sealed bid proposals for construction services for the Public Works Operations Center Phase II, CSP-2004. This project involves constructing a new single story 5,500 square foot Operations Center building to provide office, lunch, restroom and locker room space for Public Works personnel. Phase II site development includes site clearing, grading and fill, a new sanitary sewer lift station, extending utilities from Phase I, patching asphalt, new fencing, and landscaping around the building. The work shall be in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Substantial Completion is 200 working days after notice to proceed; Final Completion is 30 working days after Substantial Completion. Bid proposals are due at the City Civic Center at 3510 Grandview Street, Gig Harbor, WA 98335, by 10:00 AM on March 9, 2023. Bids will be opened publicly in a Zoom meeting at 2:00 PM on March 9, 2023. Bid deposits equal to 5 percent of the Base Bid are required. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in accordance with RCW 39.04. ADA/Title II and Title VI statements are included in the miscellaneous information section of the bid invitation.

Submission Requirements
Sealed bid proposals are due no later than Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 10:00AM. Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid total.
