The City is requesting consultant design assistance from a qualified engineering firm, who will act as an extension ofCity staff, in completing the design associated with the improvements at the SR-16 eastbound and Wollochet Driveinterchange in compliance with City of Gig Harbor Public Works and Washington State Department of Transportation(WSDOT) Standards. The project consists of a new right turn only lane on the existing off-ramp from SR-16 eastbound to Wollochet Drive westbound. This work is within WSDOT public right-of-way that is part of the limited corridor access controlled by WSDOT.

The City will evaluate all applicants based on the technical merit and demonstrated experience of project staff in civil infrastructure design, local, and state permitting with proven positive interaction with community stakeholders.
