Description
Harbor History Museum Driveway Revisions Issued: July 17, 2025The City of Gig Harbor requests bid proposals in accordance with the City’s Small Works Roster Process (Resolution No. 1322) for Harbor History Museum Driveway Revisions located at 4121 Harborview Drive, Gig Harbor, WA. The Scope of Work is described in Exhibit A. All work shall be consistent with the City of Gig Harbor Public Works Standards. A Small Public Works contract with the City of Gig Harbor will be required to perform this work. Please review sample contract to ensure insurance and prevailing wage requirements can be met. Bid proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. The City of Gig Harbor reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process. The City of Gig Harbor reserves the right to award this contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the Bid Proposal. In determining the lowest responsive responsible bidder, consideration will be given to the criteria listed in RCW 39.04. Within 10-calendar days after the award date, the successful bidder shall return the signed City-prepared contract, an insurance certificate as required by the contract specifications, and satisfactory performance and payment bonds on the City’s standard forms. Failure to execute the contract and furnish the required documents may be sufficient cause for the City to cancel the award to the respondent with the lowest price quotation proposal, and award the contract to the second lowest responsible respondent, or upon failure of the second lowest responsible respondent to furnish the required documents within the specified time, to award the contract successively in a like manner to the remaining lowest responsible respondent(s) until the conditions of award are met or the remaining proposals are rejected, all at the City’s sole discretion.
