The advertised Call for Bids for the WWTP Rotary Drum Thickener project, SS-2021-005, is hereby withdrawn and the bid opening date is cancelled. This project may or may not be re-advertised within the next 12 months. Sealed bids will be received by the Finance Director of City of Mount Vernon, 910 Cleveland Avenue, Washington, 98273, at the office of the Finance Director of said City on or before 25th day of March, 2021 until the hour of 10:00 o'clock a.m., local time, of said day for: One new wastewater dewatering rotary drum thickener and specified services for the Wastewater Treatment Plant for the City of Mount Vernon, Washington. Specified services will include delivery, installation observation, startup, testing, training and annual maintenance contract. Installation will be by the City’s contractor. All interested individuals are welcome to attend the bid opening. Bids will only be accepted from bidders who have pilot tested their equipment at the Wastewater Treatment Plant not more than a year prior to the bid opening. If a prospective bidder has not tested a pilot unit they may schedule a time to do so prior to the bid with the City. The Project Manual, including bid forms, bidder's instructions, contract forms, and specifications will be available to interested bidders electronically on the City of Mount Vernon website on February 17, 2021.
