Sealed bids will be received by Chris Phillips, Development Services Director, City of Mount Vernon, Development Services Department, 910 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, WA, until 12:00 pm, on Monday, March 15, 2021. Eligible bidders must be listed on the MRSC Roster at the time of advertisement. If your company is not listed you are not eligible to bid on this project. Work includes construction of a new 6,500 sf membrane roof for the City of Mount Vernon City Hall. A pre-bid walkthrough of the site will be held at 910 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, WA 98273, on March 5, 2021, at 10:00 am. Prospective bidders will have the opportunity to observe the project site during the time. Attendance is strongly recommended due to the life safety requirements of this project. Any responses to questions arising during the walkthrough will be responded to in an addendum if necessary. Work is anticipated to be completed by August. 31, 2021, with a project duration to be negotiated with the City Facility Representative due to supply chain issues related to the COVID Medical Emergency. All addenda will be posted online. Those bidders who are on the planholders list will be notified of addenda via email listed on the planholders list. Those not listed on the planholders list will not be notified of any further updates to this project. Ultimately, it will be the responsibility of the contractor to ensure all addenda have been received as it is posted online at www.mountvernonwa.gov/bids.aspx (http://www.mountvernonwa.gov/bids.aspx).
