Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids for the “2021 Street Improvements” will be received by the City Finance Director until 10:00 am, Thursday, April 22, 2021, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. Bids will be delivered to 1024 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, Washington. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. This contract includes improvements of City of Mount Vernon streets by planing or excavating bituminous pavement, repairing portions of sub-grade, adjusting and or installing new manhole rings and covers, adjusting existing utilities, protecting survey monuments, paving with HMA, providing temporary traffic control and other work. This project is anticipated to start on or later than July 1, 2021, with a 90 calendar day duration, and completion no later than October 1, 2021.
