The City of Mount Vernon is accepting sealed bid proposals for the Freeway Drive, Cameron Way to College project. Bids will be received by the City’s Public Works Department until 10:00 AM, June 29, 2021, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. Bids will be delivered to 1024 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, WA. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. Work is anticipated to be completed by November 19, 2021, with a duration of 90 working days. Work includes construction of roadway pavement, sidewalk, HMA path pavement, curb and gutter, storm drainage pipe and structures, bio-retention facilities, ITS traffic loop placement, temporary traffic control, and landscape restoration. Work limits is on Freeway Drive from the intersection of Cameron Way to College Way.
