Description

The City of Mount Vernon (City) is accepting submittals from architectural/engineering firms interested in providing construction management and inspection services to the City of Mount Vernon for the Library Commons Project (http://www.mountvernonwa.gov/933/Mount-Vernon-Library-Commons-Project); a new Library/Community Center and multi-story structured parking garage. The successful firm will have experience in managing construction of building structures, associated civil, structural, and landscaping components, coordinating building inspections, special inspections, and materials testing. The City invites interested parties to respond to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) by submitting their qualifications and expertise to this type of project. The City intends to select the best qualified firm for this work by January 2022; construction is planned to start June/July 2022. Please submit qualifications demonstrating your firm’s ability to perform this work outlined in the RFQ. Each proposal will be reviewed and evaluated by personnel from the City of Mount Vernon and the preferred candidate will be offered a contract for construction management services.
