Sealed bid proposals will be received by the City of Mount Vernon at the Office of the Finance Director, 910 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, WA 98273. Bids must be received no later than 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. Bids should be marked "MVPD Dog Kennels REBID". A pre-bid meeting will be held at the following time/location: Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Mount Vernon Police Campus at 1805 Continental Place, Mount Vernon. Those attending are required to check in with the Police Secretary for a visitor's pass. Due to unique conditions at the project location, all bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Work to be performed includes providing a 900 SF dog kennel comprised of concrete slabs on grade, CMU walls, wooden trusses, metal roofing and siding, electrical panel with lighting, outlets and heaters, and galvanized fencing and gates.
