The City of Mount Vernon is accepting sealed bid proposals for the E Section and S Laventure Traffic Signal Project. Project No: TS-2017-011, Funded by HLP-SR13(014) Bid Opening Date: May 4, 2017, 10:00 am Engineers Estimate: $550,000 - $625,000 This contract provides for the 380 lf of roadway associated with the installation of a traffic signal and improved sidewalk features at the intersection of E. Section Street and S. Laventure Road located in Mount Vernon. The work to be performed under this contract shall include demolition of existing curb, gutter and sidewalk at the intersection, planing of existing asphalt and the realignment / replacement of curb, gutter and sidewalk with new traffic signal system, and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Special Provisions, the Standard Specifications, including the amendments thereto, and Standard Plans.
