Sealed bid proposals will be received by the City of Mount Vernon at the office of the City Finance Director, 910 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, Washington, 98273 until 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. The work to be performed under this contract includes the lining of approximately 7,100 linear feet of 6\" to 8\" diameter sanitary sewer pipe. The liner should be either cured in place pipe (CIPP) or Folded PVC pipe (Contractor's option) meeting the requirements of the specification. The apparent low bidder was Columbia Pumping with their bid in the amount of $279,970.75. Four bids were received.
