Sealed bid proposals for disposal & composting of yard waste generated at the City of Mount Vernon Yard Waste Facility will be received by the office of the Finance Director no later than 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. Bids received after the time fixed for receiving bids will not be considered. After review of the two RFP's received, the City will request Council award the services to the Town of LaConner at the September 12, 2018, Council Meeting. 1) Town of LaConner $5.25/yard or $17.50/ton 2) Lenz Enterprises $6.80/yard or $34.00/ton
