The City of Mount Vernon is accepting sealed bid proposal for the Kulshan Trail Safety Lighting project. Bids will be received by the City's Public Works Department until 10:00 am, November 24, 2020, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. Bids will be delivered to 1024 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, WA. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. Work is anticipated to be completed by April 30, 2021, with a duration of 20 working days. Work includes installation of conduit, associated junction boxes and terminations for the installation of illumination poles and luminaries by separate forces. Work also includes installation of five poles and associated conduit for future use, repairs and restoration of trailside and trail crossings disturbed to install conduit.
