Eligible bidders must be listed on the MRSC Roster at the time of advertisement. If your company is not listed you are not eligible to bid on this project. A pre-bid walkthrough of the site will be held at 1805 Continental Way, Mount Vernon, WA 98273, on November 12, 2020, at 11:00 am. Prospective bidders will have the opportunity to observe the project site during the time. Attendance is strongly recommended due to the life safety requirements of this project. Any responses to questions arising during the walkthrough will be responded to in an addendum if necessary. Background The Mount Vernon Police Department is located at 1805 Continental Place in Mount Vernon, WA and is a facility owned and operated by the City of Mount Vernon, WA. The front desk area will be constructed as per designs provided and must include Kevlar reinforced walls & doors, bullet proof glass and other safety related enhancements for locking/securing the front desk during non-working hours. The building is used for various community events, County Court activities, City Council and Committee meetings and other Police Department programs.
