Proposals are now Due on Monday January 13, 2025, at 9:00AMThe City of Pasco is seeking a consultant to update our Transportation System Master Plan as part of the city’s long-range Comprehensive Plan update. The Transportation System Master Plan is a functional plan that builds on the policies set forth in the Transportation Element of the Comprehensive Plan, and established more specific policies and strategies for how Pasco’s transportation system will be developed, managed, and maintained. The Transportation Master Plan was last updated in 2021.The Transportation Master Plan must comply with the Growth Management Act (GMA) requirements (RCW 36.70A.070) and integrate state, regional, and local transportation goals, including those related to multi-modal transportation, reducing vehicle miles traveled, and promoting active transportation and equity. The plan will guide investment priorities over a 20-year horizon and support the city’s growth while improving mobility, safety, accessibility, and sustainability.Pasco has experienced significant growth and today is home to more than 83,000 residents. By 2045, the city is expected to have more than 140,000 residents.
