WMBE Inclusion Plan

Type: fileUpload

Describe how your firm will include women- and minority-owned businesses (WMBE) in the work under this contract. Your Inclusion Plan is evaluated under Section 10, Criterion 7. Plans are evaluated on how specific and realistic they are for the size of your firm and the nature of this work. ABC assignments vary in size and timing, so estimates are acceptable. A firm that performs all work itself is not penalized for that reason alone. 1. All Respondents. State:Whether your firm is a WMBE firm, and how that status is documentedWhether you plan to use subconsultants, suppliers, or partners for any part of this work.2. If you plan to use WMBE subconsultants, suppliers, or partners, provide for each:The firm's name, or the type of firm if not yet identifiedThe role it will perform (for example, interpretation or translation for languages your firm does not offer, a specialized task within an engagement, or limited design work within an authorized marketing project)The estimated share of the work it will performHow you will engage it when OED assigns a business to you3. If you do not plan to subcontract any part of this work, explain briefly why subcontracting is not practical for your firm. Then describe the specific actions you will take to support WMBE inclusion, such as:Using WMBE vendors for services that support client work, such as interpretation or translation for languages your firm does not offer, or printingPartnering with or mentoring WMBE consultants, including referral relationships or shared engagements when a business needs expertise outside your scopeOutreach you have done or will do to identify WMBE partners4. If your firm is a WMBE firm and will perform all work with its own staff, state this and estimate the share of work your firm will perform. Subconsultants who will have access to a business's financial information must meet the same background check and City of Seattle business license requirements as the Respondent.
