Summary

Seattle Parks & Recreation (SPR) is seeking a dynamic architecture team to lead the design work necessary to restore the Lodge as a treasured community asset that will serve Seattle residents for decades to come. In addition to bringing the building back into use, SPR is dedicated to preserving its historic character, enhancing its connections to surrounding natural areas, and modernizing its systems. Qualifications are due no later than 6:00 pm on Monday, May 18, 2026. All questions are to be submitted through the e-procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/seattle no later than 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

Background

Seattle Parks & Recreation (SPR) is seeking a dynamic, multi-disciplinary design team, led by an architecture firm, to design the restoration of the Lodge and bring back the treasured community asset that will serve Seattle residents for decades to come. In addition to bringing the building back into use, SPR is dedicated to preserving its historic character, enhancing its connections to surrounding natural areas, sustainability and climate adaptation upgrades, and modernizing its systems.
