The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a long-term contract for as-needed rental and, as applicable, purchase of shoring materials by City of Seattle (City) departments and other authorized users. The City seeks a wide range of products manufactured by Speedshore, DP Nicoli, or an Approved Equal and the option to pick-up products or receive fast delivery from an accessible vendor location. The Bid Offer form specifically lists those items most required by the City, although the ensuing contract will allow rental and purchase of all related shoring products offered by the Vendor in addition to those on the Bid Offer Form.The City has historically held a contract for these services, but the existing contract is reaching the end of its usable life. The City is returning to the marketplace to solicit bids and establish a new contract. Two of the City's large departments utilize the services provided by the current contract regularly and the total spend in 2025 was approximately $123,000.
